Polaris

A chart to the stars 

I travel 

Alone 

In a wilderness empty of fear and full of hope 

Stomping on regrets 

Planting seeds of creation along my path 

Polaris twinkles

Beckoning me 

Glimmering with tranquility 

Reminding me 

That the person I desire to be

Is not too far away from me

The journey is wondrous 

Paved with golden smiles 

I shed my ego 

It cracks under my feet 

I now know which way to go 

Along this journey I will give birth 

To my self 

The person who once seemed so far 

The person who is stellar 

Who is fit to fly with dragons 

And rise like phoenixes 

With the vision of an eagle 

And the grace of a butterfly 

This woman will defy 

All thoughts of what if 

For The Higher Self can only lift 

And soar to new spaces 

Regardless of the cage of time 

Polaris 

Wants me to be a goddess

To beget greatness 

To inspire true bliss 

The auroras gleam 

Their dance leading me to dream 

Bigger 

Polaris gets closer 

The raven sky calms me

A vast sea of an untapped destiny 

I look up and feel a tug on my soul

I'm on my way home 

And I am unlearning 

And yielding 

To a life that's been unlived for too long...
